A Fort Pierce orthopedic physical therapy office is hiring an experienced Physical Therapist for a full-time weekday position.
The work is centered on helping patients regain function after injury, surgery, or musculoskeletal problems that affect how they move. You’ll evaluate each patient, establish measurable goals, provide treatment, and follow their progress throughout the rehabilitation process.
The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with an expected pace of around 1–2 patients per hour.
What You’ll Handle
Evaluate new patients and identify functional limitations
Establish realistic short- and long-term rehabilitation goals
Build treatment programs for orthopedic outpatient cases
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities
Reassess patients throughout their plan of care
Modify interventions based on progress and clinical response
Teach home programs and practical strategies for continued improvement
Record evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge information
An active Physical Therapist license in Florida
A DPT or MSPT degree
Prior experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting
Familiarity with orthopedic rehabilitation
Strong clinical reasoning and patient communication skills
Compensation and Benefits
$88,000–$95,000 annually, plus:
