AI-Assisted Features Notice
AxoCareers may offer features powered by artificial intelligence or machine learning ("AI-Assisted Features"). This notice explains what those features do, what they don't do, how they work, and your rights with respect to them. By using any AI-Assisted Feature, you agree to the terms of this notice, which is incorporated into the AxoCareers Terms of Service.
1. What AI-Assisted Features Do
AI-Assisted Features on AxoCareers may include tools that:
- Summarize job descriptions for easier reading
- Generate suggested job description drafts from structured employer-provided inputs
- Flag job listings that may contain policy-violating content for human review
- Surface job recommendations based on search context and listing attributes
- Detect patterns associated with suspected fraudulent postings
2. What AI-Assisted Features Do NOT Do
AxoCareers AI-Assisted Features are subject to strict limitations. These features do not:
- Make, recommend, or influence any employment decision on behalf of an employer
- Screen, rank, score, or reject candidate applications
- Evaluate candidate qualifications, suitability, or fit for any role
- Process private candidate information (including full resumes, phone numbers, private email addresses, SSNs, or application notes) through any large language model
- Provide legal, medical, clinical, credentialing, HR, or compliance advice
- Serve as a conversational assistant or chatbot available to candidates or employers
- Automatically approve, reject, delete, expire, publish, email, ban, or otherwise mutate sensitive records without human review and approval
3. AI Output Is Not a Substitute for Human Judgment
AI-Assisted Feature outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, hallucinations, or outdated information. AxoCareers does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated output. You should independently verify all AI-generated content before relying on it for any purpose.
Employers: you must ensure a qualified human reviewer retains final decision-making authority over all hiring decisions. AI outputs must not be used as the sole basis for any employment decision, screening action, or candidate evaluation.
4. Automated Employment Decision Tool (AEDT) Notice
Some jurisdictions — including but not limited to New York City and Colorado — require employers to disclose to candidates when an automated employment decision tool (AEDT) is used in connection with a hiring decision, and may require bias audits, candidate accommodation rights, or other obligations. AxoCareers AI-Assisted Features are not designed for use as AEDTs and are not intended to support employment decisions. Employers are solely responsible for determining whether their use of any AxoCareers feature — including AI features — triggers obligations under applicable AEDT laws, and for satisfying those obligations independently of AxoCareers.
5. Employer Compliance Responsibility
Employers are solely responsible for determining whether their use of AI-Assisted Features on AxoCareers triggers any obligation under applicable law, including requirements relating to candidate notice and consent, accommodation requests, alternative process availability, bias testing, validation, impact assessment, audit, human review, and public disclosure. AxoCareers provides no guidance, indemnification, or representation regarding employer compliance obligations.
6. Data and Privacy
AI-Assisted Features operate on platform-side data and are subject to our Privacy Policy. We do not use private candidate application data to train AI models without explicit consent. See our Privacy Policy for information about how we process and protect your data.
7. Feedback and Corrections
If an AI-Assisted Feature produces output that you believe is inaccurate, biased, harmful, or inappropriate, please report it via the Contact page. Your feedback helps us improve the accuracy and safety of these features.
8. No Warranty on AI Outputs
AI-Assisted Features are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. AxoCareers disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for any particular purpose of any AI-generated output. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AxoCareers' liability for any AI-generated output is limited in accordance with the limitations of liability in the Master Terms.
9. Changes to AI Features
AI-Assisted Features may change or be discontinued at any time. We will update this notice when the nature of AI-Assisted Features changes materially.
